Thats wrong, 4 strokes have more torque. CC for CC 2 strokes are faster for ex. a Yz250 (2s) is faster than a YZ250f (4s). But in classes, the 4 strokes have such a displacement advantage its stupid, a 250 2 stroke has to race against a 450 4 stroke.... as the old saying goes there's no replacement for displacement, so the 4 strokes win because of rules...

im not sure about that but i can say that a 2 stroke 125cc is faster than a 125cc 4 stroke and probably 200cc too. a 125cc 2 stroke would throw you off the back if you cant handle it properly, where as the 4 stroke wouldn't scare the living daylights out of you

Every bike goes about 20km less than the cc's. So a 450 would go about 420km to 450km. Probably the honda. I dirt track a yz450f set up with 13/35 gearing on half mile track and get 70mph

tht all depends on the type of chassis and engine set up. a 2 stroke is going to have a great advantage off of the start but will require more rpms to keep it going at highr speeds because 2 strokes produce lower torque at hihger rpms. 4 strokes on the other hand lack that initial punch of power right off of the line, but they have a much wider torque range also called a power band. This wide range of torque gives a 4 stroke the advantage in that they require a lot less shifting when leading into an out of corners. 2 stroke is more faster than 4 stroke,because it have only 2 combustions.In general a 2 stroke engine will be quicker than a 4 stroke engine of the same displacement. The answer is a little more complicated than that if you look into the details.a 2 stroke because its lighter and has more torque-------------Generally, 2 stroke dirt bikes are much faster and lighter than 4 strokes, and have much more torque.
