Very much alive at age 72 and one month, the great Lou Brock was one of about 4 dozen Baseball Hall of Famers who attended the annual induction ceremonies in Cooperstown, N.Y., on July 24, 2011.

Lou Brock is very much alive and active in the St. Louis community, as well as with the Cardinals organization. (btw: that's a picture of fellow Cardinals outfielder Curt Flood, with whom Brock played many years and together won 3 NL pennants and 2 World Series. Flood is pictured in his Cincinnati Reds cap during his rookie year.)
