As everyone knows, WWE is in dire straits right now. The company is in desperate need of some main event guys after losing six in the last year alone. One of the first mid-card guys being given a serious look to become a top guy is Cody Rhodes, who has been feuding with Rey Mysterio for the last three months.
The two had a match last night at Extreme Rules that was really being built as a way to determine whether or not Rhodes can hold his own against a top guy.
Well it was only one match, but Rhodes passed the test with flying colors. He and Mysterio had a really good falls count anywhere match, which featured a cool spot with Rhodes doing jump kick off a barricade in a food court in the arena. For you MMA fans out there, it was basically a recreation of the Anthony Pettis matrix kick
Once again get the facts right before posting. WWE is NOT in dire straits nor have they ever been. They did not lose six wrestlers last year!! Get the facts right!! Cody is still a mid-card guy he is not a main eventer. And cody and Rey's feud was over months ago, they are not even on the same show now!
