∙ 13y agoCanada, by far. There are somewhere around 200,000 regular curlers in Canada. The U.S. is a distant second, at around 18,000 curlers, though popularity is growing rapidly in the U.S. (it's doubled in 20 years).

Yes, it is a winter sport and even it is the Winter Olympic sport.
This is really a matter of opnion. Figure skating seems to be the most popular sport with the public. Personally, I am a fan of curling.
