∙ 14y agoNo way. I was playing catcher last spring when a batter threw his bat back into me after hitting the ball. I appealed to the ump and he called the guy out, even though he got a hit. Safety first.

PIT is pitches thrown or pitch count.
Actually you are thrown forward.
A strike in softball is when a pitcher pitches a softball to the batter [located in the batter box in front of the catcher] and the batter misses. When it is a strike, it is thrown in a particular area from the batter's armpits to the bottom of their knees.
50- 65mph if thrown hard
I play softball so i should know ! The fastest pitch ever thrown by a woman was 80 something mph.
the thing about softball is that the ball thrown by the pitcher is different than baseball in baseball they trow it normal and in softball the pitcher trows it as a circular form, and baseball is played most by man and softball women.
