The West Point team is called Army.
When serving team hits the ball and returning team cannot return in three tries or when ball hits the floor. Serving team hits the ball and it goes out of bounds point for other side.
The server receives an "ace" and the point is awarded to the serving team.
a side out is to win the point back, so if you foot fault while serving, out serve, or do something to give the other team a point you want to win it back. you want to side out!
Rally scoring in volleyball is where a point is given after each play. Before rally scoring, only the serving team could score a point. With rally scoring, either team has a chance at the point. Rally scoring has two benefits: 1. Speeds up the play. Games could drag on and on if the serving team kept siding out. 2. Rewards good defense. Knowing that you have a chance to score even if you're not serving allows a team to be more aggressive
A Service Change in Volleyball in pretty self-explanatory. When the serving team loses a point this is called a "Service change" which means that the opposition becomes the serving team and serves the next point. You could break it down to a less technical term 1. Serve Change 2. Change Serve This term is also used in Tennis.
Do you mean how do you win a point? If so then there are many ways. First if your serving and no one on the other team hits it back over then that's a point. If your team is serving and they spike it on the serve then that's also a point for your team. if the other team is serving and don't make it over the net then its your point. If they hit it over and it goes out of bounds if you don't touch it before it hits the floor then its your point as well. If the other team hits the ball to their team mates more then 4 times before gettting it over the net then its your teams point. Tip- make sure you pay attention or else the ball might knock you out like it almost did to me!!!
