The difference between basketball and netball is that in basketball you can take more than 2 steps and dribble up the court, but in netball the most amount of steps you can take is 2 and you are put in certain positions. Another difference is that netball is played in thirds and basketball in halves.
You could get a free pass in netball if someone steps, replays the ball, goes offside, the ball is thrown over a third etc. A penalty pass is given if a player contacts or obstructs an opposing player down the court. However if this happens in your goal circle you will be awarded a penalty pass or shot where you can choose to either pass the ball or take a shot
offside is where a player steps into a space on the court where they are not allowed. eg. Centre goes into the goal circle, Goal Shooter steps into the middle- third, Goal Defence goes into their teams' attacking third and so on.
When you enter a part of the court where your position can not go, for example if the centre steps inside one of the goal circles. It's also called offside if you step or land (or are) outside the court boundary with the ball in your hands, however as long as you haven't got the ball in your hands, then you can go outside of the court boundary as much as you like.
A free pass is taken when the other team: steps (the player is not out of play), contacts (the player is out of play), obstructs (the player is out of play), holds the ball (the player is not out of play), throws the ball over a third (no-one is out of play) or steps offside (the player is not out of play, I think).
A back court violation when the offensive player with the ball steps behind the half court line after crossing it.
The responsibilities of the umpire is make sure the game is played properly ,according to the rules ,if a player steps it is the umpires job to penalise them.

Yes, we believe it would be considered an over and back because you are touching the ball when you cross half court.
Offside is an infringement which occurs when a player enters a part of the court in which her/his position is not permitted to go, either with or without the ball.A player is also deemed offside if during a throw in, she/he steps behind an offside area whilst in possession of the ball, even though she/he is out of court. (eg a Wing Attack taking a throw in on the attacking baseline may not step behind the goal circle to throw the ball)A player outside the court who is NOT in possession of the ball, may step or run behind an offside area without incurring an infringement.

Briefs, Oral, Arguments, Conference, Opinions are the four steps in deciding a Supreme Court case.
The court has jurisdiction over your case. You will be held in contempt of a court order and the court will take steps to rectify the situation from issuing a lien on your property to issuing a warrant for your arrest if you continue to ignore the court orders. It depends on your jurisdiction. You should consult with your attorney.
