Firstly, the statistic of the net punt average is really designed for season-long numbers, however this equation for finding the net punt average will work with one punt.

Net punting average:

Gross punting yards, minus Return Yards, minus 20 yards for every Touchback, divided by Total Punts

So,

50 - 15 (minus nothing for TB)/ 1 (as i said earlier, designed for more than one hence the 'average')

= 35/1

= 35
