The fact that you called it a "gun fight" tells me that you are not prepared for the consequences of a life or death situation, or you wanted to get a laugh at the ridiculous answers. Fight, usually implies rules meant to protect the combatants, much like boxing has rules, a ring, and safety equipment. When someone pulls a gun on you, you can bet that the situation is not fair, balanced, or in your favor. You can survive, however, but that usually takes a lot of smart training and God's grace.

Jujitsu is a set of self defense techniques that help build awareness, strength, flexibility, and confidence in order to defend oneself against an attacker. The techniques used are not literal rather a set of techniques that teach certain things about the body and how it can be manipulated. Jujitsu is confused as being a sport because many of it's derivatives are sports such as Judo which is a contest in throwing arts, or Brazilian Jujitsu which is a contest in grappling arts. Jujitsu is not a sport, it is a martial art. To win in jujitsu is to be at peace with yourself.
