There is no required height to figure skate. I help out at a skating school once a week and there we have kids as young as three skating, although younger skaters are required to wear a helmet. Many of the olympic skaters are actually quite short, with the exception of Evan Lysacheck. Shorter skaters, like me, have an easier time jumping because of our short height. I hope that helps.

Ussually they're around 29" and 32". It really depends on how long your legs are, but don't get a short board just because they're easier to flip because then you'll just be a posser. Take it from a pro.

It is not a matter of height but more of size. The Tandem Master or Jump Master must be able to do the harness up on you so that you are not likely to fall out.
