until your at least 17. i dont know exactly what you mean by academy, if your under 16's or of a lower age group then no, although there are exceptions. if your offered a scholarship at the end of your under 16's season then yes you will get paid, i would imagine around £80-100 a week for travel, and to attain their development colleges. 80-100 is a rough estimate thats what i was offered at a League One club.
