It depends on your goals. I'm familiar with the following rule of thumb: per begginers is your wight and per intermediate is twice you weight. Thus if you weight 90kg, per intermediate you should squat 180kg. The weights in this rule are 1RM.

use ur own body weight or light weights u have not yet finished developing so added weight can damage joints and has been said to limit ur growth and future muscle development im 21 and started to use weights when i was about 15 as i wanted to get bigger as soon as i learnt this i stopped and just used chin ups tri dips and funnily enough jumping as high or as far as i can (im a free runner) and this has kept me toned and and gave me a strong start to muscle building when i finished growing around about 18 19 i still do the same moves but add weight. if u want to use weights us ur weight its free to u and wont damage ur joint/bones while the are still developing!!! hope this helps

One obvious answer would be "as much as you can." This, of course, means that you should always be improving.

When squatting should your feet be close together?

When squatting, your feet should be shoulders-width apart. Your toes should point slightly outward, just like "natural" walking position, not pointed straight ahead. You should always use a spotter when squatting. Only go down until your quads are at a 90 degree angle from the floor, don't over extend your knees, or you'll pay later. I always found it easier to keep correct form by looking up at the ceiling, as opposed to straight ahead.
