∙ 15y agoIn skateboarding it depends how you get paid. One of these ways is called a sponsership. In a sponsership you get paid to "show off" or advertise someone elses product. Most of the time you don't get paid for sponserships but get merchandise from you sponser. The merchandise can be from a skateboard, clothes, or skateboading accessories.
