let's say a bum were to stand at a busy traffic light. As traffic comes by he gets a dollar from one person at every red light, or a dollar every 2 minutes. That means in one hour he'd get about 30 dollars. And if he stayed out there for say... 12 hours a day (what else do you have to do?) he'd get 360 dollars for that day. So times that 360 by how many days you have in a year (I used 365.25 because of leap year) and you get $131,490. So if you did this for 20 years straight you'd make some where around $2,629,800. And so you could be able to 'retire' before your 40 years old and live a descent life.
