In freestyle motocross the most frequently used dirt bike is a 250 2 stroke. It depends on the rider though. Some (but not a lot) use 125s, 250s, and 450s.
freestyle means tricks on a BMX
Depends on what you want from your bike. A MTB is likely to have better riding characteristics than a freestyle bike, important if you want to cover any distances with your bike. But if you only want to ride at skate parks, then a freestyle bike is probably the better choice.

Mirraco's top of the line freestyle bike is the "Canvas".
A BMX bike is made to race on a dirt track. It will probably have knobby tires, and only a rear brake. A freestyle bike is made for trick riding. It will probably have "street" tires, front and rear brakes and a "rotor" that will allow the rider to spin the handlebars without tangling the cables. Freestyle bikes may also be heavier because the frames sometimes have stands on the top tube and pegs on the axles so trick riders have multiple places to stand on the bike while doing tricks.

Freestyle is a type of riding, mainly featuring different tricks and some (smallish) jumps.
Bike accidents can be avoided by getting a headlight that makes the bike and rider more visible. Headlights mounted on the rider's head or helmet work best in that they allow the rider to look directly at incoming vehicles so that the driver is sure to see the light. Bike riders can also get a horn in order to alert cars that are backing up and which may be unable to see the bike rider. Bike riders can also yell or wave at an upcoming vehicle.

If it is a new freestyle bike it is worth $200. If it is old it is worth $130 or $100.
A bike by itself doesn't go anywhere w/o a rider powering it, so talking about the fastest bike is fairly pointless. All things being equal, the rider is more important than the bike.
