∙ 11y agoThis would be around $100 for any 1 inch slate set. Used pool table slate has very little value. It can only be used on a table designed for slate and slate doesn't "go bad". Therefore, there is no market to sell used pool table slate. The potential buyer would be the small retailer, who could then replace slate damaged in handling - and it would be necessary to have a full set of matched pieces to sell it.

The price is misleading, because the cost to have the pool table set up by a professional will range from $250-500. If this price is included in the cost of an $800 table it is highly unlikely a pool table professional will perform the set up.
The minimum price is better to consider than the average price. A low end 8 foot table will cost $1000 to $1800, so the average can be considered $1400. The 8 foot tables are nearly equal in cost to a 9 foot table.
