I'm not sure about the values, but I would definetly keep it sealed if i were you, because it will probably be worth a good amount of money in the future.They overdid the production on 1980-1989 cards because of the demand, so the single base cards aren't worth much at all(a couple cents each).
The 1988 Topps Baseball cards came out during the baseball card boom that started around 1987. Enormous amount of cards were printed during this era to meet the high demand. Today the sets out number the amount of collectors. An unopened wax pack has a value of about .40 cents.
At most card shops they sell at 50 cents each, so around 50 cents.
