The lowest priced signed item would be for a "cut Signature." A cut signature is a signature on a piece of paper, or "cut" from a larger piece. Index cards are the next step up, and both sell at a fraction (about 10%-20%) the price of an autographed Baseball. Autograph photos typically sell at about 40-60 percent the price of a baseball with bats, uniform Jersey's and equipment selling at a higher price due to the higher cost of the item, rarity and display.

In general if an autographed baseball is worth $100. the same autograph on a 8x10 photo $50. a cut signature $20. on a bat $150. The percentage of the price could also vary based on the popularity of the player, and how sought after the signature is. A Golf scorecard will fit into the pricing of a cut signature or index card at about $60.-$120. unless the scorecard is associated with a Mickey Mantle Golf outing or a popular outing that he would have attended. Then the price of the scorecard as a collectible item will add some value according to it being more desired. Then it might be priced in the 8 x 10 photo price range at $150. -$300. The bulk of the value will rely on how well the signature is displayed, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature.

Value will depend on a number of factors including what item is signed. Signatures will vary in price based on condition, the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature, the item signed, and how well the item displays the signature. Baseballs are the most common, and preferred by collectors because of it's connection to the game, low cost, availability and it displays the signature well. The signed baseball represents the average price for a signature, and by deducting or adding from this price for the Item signed accordingly will give you a good idea on value.

A Mickey Mantle single signed baseball is worth about $400.-$600. Price will vary based on condition, and type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. Rare examples of pristine signatures or inscriptions like "The Mick" "HOF 1974" or 536 HR's" could raise the price to the $1,000. price range. Personal inscription like "Good luck Mike" could sell below $400. A rarely signed full name signature "Mickey Charles Mantle" will break the $2,000 price mark as it did in a May 5th 2007 live eBay auction selling for $2,390.

After condition the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature will dictate the price. Mickey Mantle was under contract with the Upper-Deck company before he passed away. Baseballs that have the Upper deck hologram could sell in the $1,000.-$1,500. price range. signatures that have not been authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. Signed ScorecardAn autograph scorecard cover is compatible in price with a 8X10 photo, in general about 60 percent the value of a signed baseball. Mickey mantle 1946 team picture signed what is it worthed?

Mickey mantle Signed PhotoA Mickey Mantle signed 8 x 10 photo sells for about $150.-$300. Price will vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. Photo composition, and appeal will effect the price as well. Part of the value will be determined by how well the photo displays the signature. The type of ink used, and how it stands out in contrast to the photograph will also effect the price. Sharpie would be most preferred for a photo. Larger and more desired pictures could sell for more.If the signature can be dated to 1946 it will carry a premium. You would need some sought of provenance or dated by Mantle himself. Because the picture is from a 1946 team photo it doesn't mean it was signed in 1946 and will have no added value. Mantle had a different style to his signature early in his career. If the signature is Mantles early signature it will have added value

How much is a signed baseball of Mickey Mantle worth if he only signed Mickey?

Mikey SignatureThis would be difficult to put a value on as there are no auctions or a history of sales to base it on. I don't think there would be a large demand for it and it might be more of a novelty to a Mantle collector. If the "Mickey" Signature was properly authenticated as being signed by Mickey Mantle I would think it might fetch about half the value of a full signature or more if there is interest. A full Mickey Mantle signature on a baseball is worth about $600.-$800. If it were signed just "The Mick" it might have a higher value.

What is the value of Mickey Mantle's autograph on an album cover called The Greatest Baseball Collection of Music?

I am not familiar with the record called "The Greatest Baseball Collection of Music" I know of a record called "Baseball's Greatest Hits" and a record featuring Mickey mantle called "My Favorite Hits" Mickey Mantle a 1958 RCA Record. The record itself could effect the value of the signature in the way it displays the signature, and it's connection to Mickey Mantle. A record cover featuring a picture of Mickey Mantle will be more desirable. A collectible record can add some value to the signature to a degree of being more desired by a collector to display the signature but, once the collectible record is signed it becomes a display for the signature and could lose it's value as a collectible. The bulk of the value will rely on the value of the signature. The condition of the album, the condition of the signature, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature as well. Without a letter of authenticity from a reputable company you could land up with half the market value or less. The ink used to sign the album is important. You would want a color that will stand out in contrast to the item signed. The signature should be strong, and bold, as opposed to faded and hard to see. In general I would price the signed record as the value of a large signed photograph, adding extra value if the record is desired, and displays the signature well. That would put the value at about $160.-$240. Desired albums or records might also include; 1973 50th Anniversary Yankees Stadium Record, Joe Garagiola "That Holler Guy," June 8, 1969 Mickey Mantle A Day To Remember, or Willie Mickey & "The Duke" (Talkin' Baseball) For more information on these records visit the links I left below.
