With a Bachelor's Degree earning potentials are:

Median annual earnings of dietitians and nutritionists were $46,980 in May 2006. The middle 50 percent earned between $38,430 and $57,090. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $29,860, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $68,330. Median annual earnings in the industries employing the largest numbers of dietitians and nutritionists in May 2006 were:

Outpatient care centers $49,950
General medical and surgical hospitals $47,320
State government 46,690
Nursing care facilities 46,660
Local government 43,250

Hopefully, since the year is 2009 (almost 2010), wages have gone up.


I found a great resource that shows what nutritionist make in every state. There are some other good articles on here about becoming a nutritionist or a dietitian.
Its hard these days to find accurate information on salaries. So many stites are all over the board. This might help you. Link is below titled Nutritionist Salary.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics the estimated mean annual wage for a nutritionist as of May 2008 was, $51,470. This would be approximately $24.75 an hour.

With a bachelors degree in nutrition in a normal sized city (1-2 million) you should expect to earn about $37,000 a year.
