No NFL team has missed the playoffs with a 12-4 record or better; however, the San Francisco 49ers missed the playoffs at 12-2 in 1948, when they were a member of the AAFC. The Baltimore Colts in 1967 missed the playoffs at 11-1-2.
Tim Duncan has missed the NBA playoffs only one time. He missed them in the 2000 playoffs after suffering a torn left lateral meniscus on 4/11 at Sacramento.
The Cowboys have missed the playoffs for three straight years - 2010-12. The Patriots last missed the playoffs in 2008.
06/07......the havent won The Cup since 92/93 season. Go Bruins :-) Sorry to clarify. But the question wasn't when was the last time the Canadiens missed winning the Stanley Cup. It was when was the last time they missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which START with round 1 and end when the two Finals teams have been determined and the Finals start. To that end, I did notice the post is an older one from 06/07, coincidentally, one of the seasons the Habs missed the Playoffs. So, here are some answers I hope help. They missed three seasons in a row 98-99, 99-00, 00-01, 06-07, 11-12, and the current season 15-16. Hope the clarification is helpful and not offensive.
