How many years do you have to go to college to become a professional track runner?

It takes pretty much your whole life, almost all NASCAR drivers today started racing competitively before they were 10 years old. Also to make it in NASCAR you need a good sponsor and a good crew and crew chief or you wont last very long.

∙ 15y agoNone. You do not have to go to college to become a race car driver. There are driving schools you can learn at, but becoming a race car driver, has nothing to do with college per sey. It is all about skill, and lots of luck. Skill you cannot learn in college. It takes experience and lots of money to build and race a car.
