Who is the best formula1 diver for always?
This is a topic that can be debated for ages with no definitive answer. Some of the contenders for the best formula 1 driver ever are: a. Micheal Schumacher b. Ayrton Senna c. Alain Prost If Ayrton Senna had not died in a tragic accident at the peak of his career, he would've been arguably the best formula 1 driver ever. If not for him, the only other contenders for this honor are Alain Prost and Micheal Schumacher. Currently Sebastian Vettel is in the best possible form and is dominating F1 like what Prost or Schumacher did in their hay-day. If vettel manages to win many more races and world titles, maybe 5 or 10 years down the lane, he could also be a contender for this best driver honor.
How many times have there been two Formula 1 drivers world champions driving for the same team at the same time. Who were they and in what years?
I count 4 occurences where former F1 world champions drove for the same team at the same time ... 1) 1967-1968: In 1967, Jim Clark (1963 and 1965 F1 drivers world champion) and Graham Hill (1962) drove the entire season as teammates for Lotus. They drove one race for Lotus in 1968, the South African Grand Prix won by Clark. Clark lost his life in a racing accident at Hockenheim in Germany prior to the second race of the season. Hill won the championship in 1968. 2) 1986: Alain Prost (1985) and Keke Rosberg (1982) drove for McLaren. Prost won the championship in 1986. 3) 1989: Ayrton Senna (1988) and Alain Prost (1985, 1986) drove for McLaren. Senna and Prost also drove for McLaren in 1988, the first season Senna won the championship. 4) 2010-?: Jenson Button (2009) and Lewis Hamilton (2008) drove for McLaren.
