Memphis all-time record since 1920 is 1,351-807. I'm not sure how many of those wins are against division I teams. I got this number just by looking at coaching history and adding up the wins and losses. Technically our first coach that was not also a player was Zach Curlin in 1924. The first three "coaches" were also players.
There are two teams that have the record for most victories in a three year period with 104 wins. They are the University of Memphis (2005-2008) and the University of Kentucky (1996-1998).
One team has the most wins and that team is the University Of Kentucky.
University of Tennessee 12 wins in 20 games. 12 and 8 University of Memphis 8 wins in 20 games. 8 and 12.
The University of Kentucky currently with over 2000 wins ! Also the only team with over 2000 wins !
