Through the 2014 season, the Dallas Cowboys lead the all-time series three games to one.

On Sept. 8, 2002, the first game in the history of the Texans franchise, Houston upset the Cowboys, 19-10, at Reliant Stadium. It was the first time the Cowboys had ever lost a season opener to an expansion team.

The Cowboys won the rematch on Oct. 15, 2006, defeating the Texans 34-6 at Texas Stadium. The Dallas victory was paced by three Drew Bledsoe touchdown passes to wide receiver Terrell Owens.

Dallas won the third meeting of the intrastate rivals on September 26, 2010, as Tony Romo threw two touchdown passes to Roy Williams in a 27-13 victory at Reliant Stadium.

On October 5, 2014, the Cowboys won in overtime, 20-17, thanks to a Dan Bailey field goal.

As a Houston Texans fan myself, I unfortunately have to say that they have never been to the Super Bowl. Although, they have been to the playoffs on a few occasions (three to be exact). The first was in 2011, when they lost in the Divisional Round to the Baltimore Ravens. The second was the year after in 2012, when they lost in the Divisional Round again, but this time to the New England Patriots. The last time was last year (2015), and they lost in the Wild Card Round to the Kansas City Chiefs.
