Actually, UNLV did it in 1990-91 (for the regular season). There stil could be others, I haven't researched it.
Actually UCLA did it at least 4 times: 1963-64, 1966-67, 1971-72, and 1997-73. I say "at least" 4 times since my reference only lists undefeated seasons that include the tournament, so I'm not 100% sure that there were no additional undefeated regular seasons.
Actually, North Carolina did it in 1924 and 1957, winning national championships in both seasons (the '24 one is sometimes disputed due to how it was received...the Helms Foundation at that time voted a team to be the national champion).
UNLV was undefeated in the regular season during the 1991 season, eventually losing to Duke in the NCAA tournament. Indiana University was the last team to go undefeated during the regular and post season. They were 32-0 in 1976.
The University of Utah
The last men's team to go undefeated during the regular season and win the tournament was Indiana in 1976.
During the 2007 season they went undefeated in the regular season before the New York Giants beat them in the Super Bowl
San Francisco, 1956 (29-0)
Boise state Alabama Auburn Utah
Yes the 1972 Miami Dolphins went undefeated throughout the regular and post season.
1972 Miami Dolphins are the only team to make it through an entire season undefeated. The 2007 New England Patriots were undefeated during the regular season, but lost in the Super Bowl.
Indiana University in 1976 under Bobby Knight. 32-0
