They have won the Sam Maguire Cup 5 times. They have won the All-Ireland title on 7 occasions, but two of those, 1890 and 1911, were before the Sam Maguire Cup was first presented. The five times that Cork received the Sam Maguire Cup were in 1945, 1973, 1989, 1990 and 2010.

Dublin have won the All-Ireland Championship 27 times, but only 13 of those resulted in them receiving the Sam Maguire Cup. This is because the Sam Maguire Cup was only first presented for the 1928 All-Ireland Final, although the first All-Ireland Championship was the 1887 one. Dublin's All-Ireland wins are as follows:

Before the Sam Maguire Cup:

1891 1892 1894 1897 1898 1899 1901 1902 1906 1907 1908 1921 1922 1923

After the Sam Maguire Cup:

1942 1958 1963 1974 1976 1977 1983 1995 2011 2013 2015 2016 2017
