There is just one 'static line' which is connected to the pin (what holds the container closed) and then connected to the d-bag which the parachute is packed into.
The parachute has many different parts including: o VENT which is the hole in the top of the parachute, which stops the parachute from oscillating. o CANOPY which is the material part of the parachute that causes drag o SUSPENTION LINES are the cords that join the passenger/delivery to the canopy P.S is this question by chance for a school assignment, it has the exsact wording of an assignment question I have.

The first bead needs three lines to connect it to every other bead. The second bead needs two more lines to connect it to every other bead (it's already connected to bead 1).The third bead needs one line to connect it to bead 4 (it's already connected to 1 and 2).The fourth bead is already connected to all the other beads, so no additional lines are needed. That's six lines total.
A polygon can have numerous amounts of sides. As long as it has at least 3 lines that connect.
If the line is straight, then only one line may connect two points.
