Safety Equipment;
· Knee length Shin pads - To reduce the risk of injury to the shin.
· Gum Guard - To reduce risk of injury to the teeth.
· Goalkeepers must wear protective equipment comprising at least headgear, leg guards and kickers except that the headgear and any hand protectors may be removed when taking a penalty stroke.
Safety Regulations and Rules;
· Feet Rule- So you don't kick the ball during the game.
· No clashing sticks - to reduce risk of injuries to the hands and body.
· No shooting outside of the D-
· Players are permitted to wear gloves for protection which do not increase the natural size of the hands significantly.
· Goalkeepers (ie wearing full protective equipment) must wear a shirt or garment over any upper body protection.
· the stick must be smooth and must not have any rough or sharp parts.
· Players must not lift their stick over the heads of other players.
· Players must not touch, handle or interfere with other players or their sticks or clothing.
· Players must not play the ball dangerously or in a way which leads to dangerous play
· Players must not intentionally raise the ball from a hit except for a shot at goal.
· Players must not approach within 5 metres of an opponent receiving a falling raised ball until it has been received, controlled and is on the ground.
· Field players must not stop, kick, propel, pick up, throw or carry the ball with any part of their body.
· Players must not obstruct an opponent who is attempting to play the ball.
