There are many rules. But it is a very easy game to understand. Main Rules Are;
Timing: 90minutes per game. with 45mins in each half. If there are injuries and stoppages then this time gets added on at the end of each half making game longer.
Players: There are two teams of 11 players. 10 outfield players and 1 goal keeper. The goalkeeper is the only one that can use his hands, otherwise there will be a free kick to the other team.
Cards: bad fowls/decent/wasting time or kicking the ball away will result in a yellow card. another one will result in a red card and that player will be sent from the field and his team will be left with 10 men.
Offside Rule: This is where an attacking player running towards the opposing goal cant receive the ball off a team mate if there is not a defender between him and the goal keeper when the ball is played. This helps so that the attacking team doesnt have a person standing next to the opposing goal all the time.
