Underwater Rugby is a sport played at and below the surface of the water in a swimming pool by two teams of 6 players, each wearing basic sub-aqua equipment, i.e. mask, snorkel and fins. The object of the game is to put a negatively buoyant ball into the opposing team's goal.

One goal is located at each end on the bottom of the pool.
