The Ferrari F1 has a 7 speed transmission. Formula 1 race cars have either 6 or 7 speed transmissions. The choice of fitting 6 or 7 forward ratios is provided for in some of the gearboxes, notably Benetton and Jordan. The decision on how many to actually fit for a given event, is mainly a function of matching engine characteristics to the circuit and the driver's preferred style.

They have a 7 speed box (6 forward 1 Reverse) on a sequential shift and a button to press for reverse. The gear ratios can be changed by the mechanics for different cicuits. The cars are also equipped with a button to press for the pit lane speed limiter, which does as says limits the car to pit lane speed

Formula 1 racing cars usually have 7 forward gears and 1 reverse gears. They are operated using two switches on the steering wheel. The gears are specially designed to ensure that there is no loss of acceleration when a gear shift happens and built to last thousands of gear changes in a single race.

Depends on the category of racing it's supposed to be used in. Track bikes only have one gear, a road bike will have 20 to possibly 33. An XC MTB might have 14-27, and a DH can have just about anything lesser than that.
