When is the Augusta golf course open?

Augusta National is only open for about 3 months a year for it's members, and this is just after the masters. The course is obviously open for the Masters tournament in early to mid April. It is also open for a few weeks before that so the players can come and get a bit of practice in before they start playing the tournament.

Augusta National is the most manicured Golf course in the world, the standard of green keeping is second to none. It holds the first major of the year and is of great pride to the members. For this reason the course is only open for three months a year, that is why it is in such perfect condition when the Masters comes round.

The club is open in spring, fall, and winter. It closes in May and opens again in October.
