The game is played in 2 halves of 45 minutes which can be longer depending on stoppage time which is 5 minutes maximum
23 minutes
The first half.
45 min. per half with any stoppage timed added onto the second half. There are 45 minutes in a half international soccer game but it all depends on how many minutes the referee wants to give due to injuries of players. So 45 minutes for the first half and 45 minutes for the second half. That makes it 90 minutes of play for the whole game.
the longest world cup game was 45 minutes
A soccer game has 90 minutes of playing time, divided into two 45-minute halves with a short break between them. Youth leagues often play shorter games (and on smaller fields). Also, the referee may add time to the end of one or both halves of play in order to compensate for time lost due to injuries, timewasting, and other reasons. Finally, a game may be extended for extra time or kicks from the mark to break a tie, or be shortened due to weather or unsafe conditions.
At college and professional levels they play two 45 minute halves with a half time of at least 10 minutes inbetween. Stoppage time is also added on to the end of each half, normally around 2-3 minutes, for any stop in the flow of play for injuries.
You are confusing baseball with soccer. The duration of baseball game is measured in innings. A soccer games is measured in minutes.
45, plus a few extra minutes to compensate for stoppages during the game.
A Soccer game runs for 90 minutes. *i think*
1 hour and 30 mintues
There are usually 45 minutes in the first half, not counting any stoppage time the referee decides to add on to it.
