olympic pool length is 50 meters. thus, 15 lengths would be 750 meters. finally, if you consider a lap a roundtrip, 7 1/2 laps would be .75 km. Keep in mind, many people mistakenly refer to 25 meter pools as olympic pools; just because someone is telling you it is so doesn't make it an olympic pool: they are rare.

10 laps, ie from the starting block to the other end and back

from the starting block to the other end is 50m and coming back is another 50m so in total one lap is 100m

2000 metres = 2km

50 metres = 1 length of olympic sized pool

2000/50 = 40 laps

a 25 metre pool? that's 40 laps.

A 50 metre (Olympic size ) pool is 20 laps

1000 metres in a Kilometre.
