Ben is in the middle of the pack when it comes to interceptions thrown by current QBs.
It is really better to judge a quarterback by interception percentage instead of number of interceptions as some teams throw the ball a lot more than others so it would make sense that those quarterbacks that throw more passes would have more interceptions. Plus, those that have played more seasons than Ben would have more total interceptions and those that have played less would have fewer total interceptions. That said ...
Ben has played for 8 seasons (2004 was his rookie year) and through 11 games of the 2011 season, he has 96 career INTs in 3185 career pass attempts for an INT% of 3.0. That puts him tied with Matt Hasselbeck of the Titans who also has an INT% of 3.0 on 138 INTs in 4650 pass attempts. Closest to Ben are Tony Romo of the Cowboys (71 INTs in 2450 passes) and Michael Vick of the Eagles (69 INTs in 2415 passes) who have an INT% of 2.9.
