I think that when a doulbe header is scheduled in the minors each game is reducued to 7 innings So 14 would be the answer if neither game when into extra innings due to a tie
9 or until a tie is broken.
9 innings in a regulation baseball game. ---------- 9 innings in a professional...Major League and Minor League...game, and in most college games. High School and PONY League games are 7 innings, and Little League (12-and-under) play 6 innings.
They are 9 innings, just like MLB.
The MLB record for innings played was 26 by Brooklyn and Boston in 1920. The minor league record is 33 innings between the Rochester Red Wings and the Pawtucket Red Socks in 1981.
We saw our first minor league game last night (7-31-09) and it lasted almost 4 hours for 9 innings!

minor league
Major League Baseball, Minor League, and most college games are 9 innings in length, because that's the rule. Some college games will be only 7 innings, but generally only if it's the first game of a double-header. Most High School games are 7 innings. PONY also plays 7 innings, and Little League (12-years-old and under) play only 6 innings. Howrever, until the High School level is reached, most games are played with a time limit established by the local league.
minor league baseball is one level lower than major league baseball but they still pay good if you ever make it
