The 32 panel pattern is as follows:
- each pentagon is surrounded by five hexagons
- three pentagons touch each hexagon, each pentagon is separated by one of the sides of the hexagon
- the lengths of the sides of the hexagons and pentagons are the same
This being said, on an official soccer ball there are 20 hexagons and 12 pentagons.
