It set sail on April 10th and sank on 15th at 2:20am. So 5 days later.
The Titanic sailed four days before it hit the iceberg. The iceberg hit as if it was punching in Morris code. Before they knew that that was how the ice hit it people thought that it opened like a can opener. One man on the ship thought that the titanic was really unsinkable! The founder said " she is made of iron, I assure you it will sink." That man thought it couldn't sink just because they said it was "unsinkable".
It sunk on the 5th day. The launch was April 10, 1912; it hit an iceberg on the 14th and sunk on the 15th.
It set sail on April 10th, hit the iceberg on the 14th, and finally sank on the 15th...5 days

It's simple Math. So we know the Titanic Sank April 15, 1912. Today it is April 10, 2012.

2012-1912=100years.

We should also know that within those 100 years there were 26 leap years, which leaves a total of 74 normal years. So 26*366=9516days. 74*365=27010days.

27010+9516=36526days as of April 15, 2012. So as of today it has been a total of 36,521 days since the Titanic sank.
98 years and a bit..

The Titanic sank on the 15th April 1912

To calculate the number of days since then, use timeanddate's date interval calculator as I write (2nd January 2011) that number of days is 36056 days.

The Royal Mail Ship (RMS) Titanic was launched 31 May, 1911, and sank in the early hours of April 15, 1912. Work continued on the ship after launching, which is why she was afloat for the better part of a year. She was in service from 10 April to 15 April 1912. After leaving Southampton on 10 April she stopped at Cherbourg France and at Queenstown (now Cobh) in Ireland before heading out to sea and to its destination, New York City. She was afloat 321 days if you include April 15 2012 as a day. Otherwise, 320 days.
