∙ 12y agoFor the beginning of every point, the server has two chances to get a serve in the correct service box. If on the first serve the ball is called a fault, then it is second serve. If on the second serve there is a let, then it is still the second serve, and the server may redo the serve.
A "fault" is committed when the server hits the net with the ball or when the ball is hit outside the service court.
As soon as the server deliberately throws the ball up to serve, the ball is in play. So if you do not hit the ball or you do not serve within the rules of table tennis, the server loses the point. So there is no limit to how many faults you can have in table tennis.
"Take two" is a common phrase in tennis used by the receiving player when the server causes a let. A let is when the server serves the ball, but the ball hits the net before bouncing into the service box.The receiver would say "take two", which means that the server will be able to re-do the first serve, as well as have a second serve to use if he or she fails to get the first serve into the service box.

A fault is a term in tennis for a serve that lands outside the service box or hits the nets and lands outside the service box. When this occurs on two consecutive serves, it is called a double fault and the server's opponent wins a point.
The receiver must stand diagonally opposite to the server. For example, if the server is on the right side (thus serving to the server's left service box), then the receiver must stand to the receiver's right to be diagonally opposite to that of the server.
Machines that shoot tennis balls are called, quite simply, tennis ball machines. They are also sometimes referred to as ball machines. More versed players sometimes call them the electronic opponent, or the ruthless server.
The score is 0 - 40, that is, the receiver needs one point to win (and "break" the serve), so he/she has three chances to score that point. If the server wins the next point, the score is 15 - 40, and the receiver has two break points, or two chances left.If the server wins again, the score is 30 - 40, and the receiver has one break point, that is, one chance to break service and win the game.
