With Nascar, the cars are not all the same, instead, there are differences between sizes makes models and manufacturers. The race tracks are wider so the cars can pass each other at almost any time. There are not rules on when a driver must yield. Nascar is usually run on a large oval track not an irregular course. The people usually sit in the stands on one side of the track and not in a large area. The races are frequently decided by a number of laps not by time.
