Since 2007, six Super Bowls have featured either quarterback Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos or his brother, quarterback Eli Manning of the New York Giants.

  • February 4, 2007: Peyton Manning was named Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLI, in which the Colts defeated the Chicago Bears, 29-17.
  • February 3, 2008: A year later, Eli Manning won MVP honors as the Giants upset the previously undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, 17-14.
  • February 7, 2010: Peyton lost to his hometown team, the New Orleans Saints, in Super Bowl XLIV, as the Saints defeated the Colts 31-17.
  • February 5, 2012: Eli earned his second MVP award in Super Bowl XLVI after the Giants' 21-17 win in a rematch with the Patriots.
  • February 2, 2014: Peyton's third title experience was ruined by the Seattle Seahawks' dominance in a 43-8 victory over the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
  • February 7, 2016: Peyton attained a measure of redemption in Denver's 24 to 10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. The contest was played at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The brothers' father, Archie Manning, never appeared in a playoff game during his National Football League career (1971-1984). He was a quarterback for the Saints, the Houston Oilers and the Minnesota Vikings.
