That all depends on how the other teams did. If almost everyone is at 42-42, than probably a 46 win season would secure a playoff spot. However, if everyone in the west does good for one season and they all have about 50+ wins, than having 45 wins wouldn't be enough.
It depends on all the other teams performances. You could have won 60% of your games in the west and still not make it into the playoffs. But in the east you can get in with less than or aroud 50% wins. It really depends on the team itself and the otherteams.
