In professional games, you don't have to sit out at all. In American high school games you must sub out when you receive the card, but your coach can sub you back in as soon as the next legal substitution opportunity. There is no official time limit.

∙ 13y agoWell it depends on how bad the foul is. If you get a ban or fine he could be up to3-5 games but normally for a red card it is a 1 game ban

You can get a red card by getting 2 yellow cards in a game. If you get a 2nd yellow yard that equals a red card that means you have to sit out for the rest of the game oyu receive the card and the next game you are playing.
