Trampoline and tumbling gymnastics is a subcategory of gymnastics, like artistic or rhythmic. It has four events, trampoline, synchronized, rod floor and double mini. On trampoline you have a ten skill routine, once you get to level eight you have a compulsory and an optional, the compulsory is the standard routine and the optional is one that you make up with a certain amount of twists and flips. At level ten you have four routines. For syncro, its two people doing the same routine on two different trampolines at the same time. You can only compete that at level nine at states and before and level ten at nationals. On rod floor there are two standard passes, but you cant compete level four or under at nationals, the level five passes are power hurdle round-off two back-handsprings and run hurdle round-off four back-handsprings. For double mini you have two passes until you get to level ten where you have four. There are spotter and mounter passes, spotter being three tricks, and mounter is only two. The level six pass is straddle jump on, front flip off, and the second pass is straight jump on, back flip, tuck jump off.

gymnastics and tumbling are pretty much the same thing. Artistic Gymnastics is where you perform a routine on different apparatices. And you do multiple tumbling line as for Tumbling you just show 1 or 2 lines. Scoring is tottaly different aswell..............................this is pretty much true except gymnastics is about competitions and being graceful...but tumbling is just a couple of passes. i mean i used to be a gymnast we had to be really fit and watch what we ate

Kind of the same, but gymnastics have extra to it. They do bars,beam,vault,and flexibiltiy. Tumbling is when you learn back flips,cartwheels,or other stuff just on the floor.Tumbling may be less painful and easier while gymnastics takes LOTS of strength.

Tumbling is doing flips as easy as a forward roll, and as difficult as a full (a back tuck with a twist) Stunts are when you lift a girl into the air. There is a major difference between the two of them! Tumbling=flips. Stunting=lifting girls into the air!

Tumbling is a fast connection of tricks. Stunting is strictly a Cheerleading thing where there are usually back spots and bases, and there's always a flyer.
