I'm assuming you are wondering how it is different to dribbling in Basketball. Actually they are quite similar, however when you dribble a soccer ball, you move it on the ground using only your feet, instead of bouncing it up and down with your hands.
they are both very alike, not very many differences. ball control is being able to control the ball in any position. dribbling is running along the field with the ball, adding ball control makes your dribbling great.
I'm a soccer coach at UNC and these are two completely different things. Anyone can kick a ball down the field, but not anyone can dribble it down the field. These two take different talents to do.
They are, in fact, very different from each other. Soccer dribbling only involves the feet and basketball only with hands.
When you pass you:Launch the from your chest to the player with two hands
When you dribble you:Bounce the ball on the floor with one hand
Only that you are attempting to retain possession of the ball and keep it close to you in order that you may pass or shoot with the intention of finally scoring.
When you stop the ball with your feet you 'trap' the ball.
Messi of course
dribbling, shooting, passing, and stealing
to improve your dribbling you should make sure you do keep ups every day for 20 minutes to improve ball control then to improve dribbling touch the ball with the inside of you left foot then the outside of your right foot then the inside of your right foot then the outside of your left foot and so on. This improve's dribbling a lot if you do it consistently.
There is no difference just that Zimbabwe's soccer team is very bad [its the same!]
In offense when you are trying to reach the goal.
It all depends on how you touch them, if the goalie has possession, and if the goalie is dribbling the soccer ball.
Practice passing and dribbling.
Volleyballs are softer than a soccer ball.
The difference is the weight. Soccer shoes are way lighter than football shoes.
Soccer in the 1940s was Bord but now thre's more fun. "And better soccer balls".
A true soccer player would improve in soccer by practicing dribbling, skills, punting (goalkeepers), throw-ins, traps, Maradonna, everything that the sport soccer uses, or what you would you use in soccer.
