Hockey is violent because of two reasons... one of them would be the fighting in the sport, professionals fight alot which can make the sport violent. Also, it can be considered violent because hockey is a contact sport and some people will hit violent and not do a clean hitm so that can also make the sport dirty.
An enforcer.

a brawler
No he does not. He was an incredibly clean hockey player
Hockey, football, wrestling, and boxing.
Rugby!!! It's like hockey, but worse, and without ice. Youtube it!
Hockey could be considered a deadly sport, but all sports have injury risks. Hockey includes sharp skates, flying pucks, and high sticks, so it is violent.
Whether you like hockey or basketball is , of course, a personal preference. As an ice hockey fan, I love the speed, body contact, violent nature, etc., of hockey which basketball doesn't have. But I follow basketball because it has a different skill set and is exciting in its own way. So my recommendation is: enjoy both for what each sport has to offer!!
because it's hockey
They are both very violent sports, but I would personally say football. The Saints were just uncovered in a bad scandal where they would get paid thousands of dollars to throw huge hits in defenseless players. Sean Payton was suspended from coaching for a year for this.
The comparative is "more violent"; the superlative is "most violent".
