There are many technical ways in which humans can remove carbon from air ( to reduce fossil fuel emissions), but the natural way is through photosynthesis. Trees and plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen into the air. That's why we can breath; trees :)

What removes carbon dioxide from the air?

Carbon dioxide is removed naturally from the air by: * Plants (trees to algae) by way of photosynthesis * Dissolving in the ocean In industrial processes it is removed by: * Distillation or freezing * Alkaline scrubbing

How can carbon dioxide be removed from the air and replaced by oxygen gas in submarine?

They use a 'gas exchange system' - usually chemicals that split the carbon dioxide molecules into atoms of oxygen and carbon. The oxygen is recycled back into the air in the submarine, and the carbon is retained for disposal.

Carbon oxygen cycle?

Oxygen is removed from the air through respiration, then carbon dioxide is released into the air, the carbon is removed from the air through the process of photosynthesis. There are many diagrams available on line showing this process.

How does carbon get inside fossil fuels?

At some point before the fossil became a fossil, a plant removed carbon from the air (carbon dioxide) and it became part of the plant that became a fossil.

Are bio-fuels good?

Yes because they do not add polluting carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, causing global warming. (They release carbon dioxide that was recently removed from the air, so biofuels are carbon-neutral.)

Why deserts are important to the ecosystem?

because there are variety of life that can withstand the heat and some bacteria that removed carbon dioxide in the air...
