Yes they do need a computer because mostly every job needs a computer.

What are the good things and bad things about mechanical engineer?

One bad thing about mechanical energy is its very slow. But we are being green by using it because we do not use nonrenewable resources. P.S. I know that's not the question!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How does Thermodynamics affect the work of mechanical engineers?

thermodynamics, is essential for mechanical engineers, because the subject is mainly about heat and work in system, and as an engineer that is important, especially when you have to design engines, because that is when you have to determine important factors such as the amount of work that can be done by that engine internally, and the heat it transefered and obtained.

Which is good demand among ece and mechanical engineering?

let look from the different angle, mechanical engineering and ece has almost equal scope but mechanical have little higher because mechanical has wide variety of subjects and every skilled mechanical engineer has got statisfyed job.... now we look from ece,ece is the easy to learn and has good job outlook, every professsionaly skilled engineerhas good job aspect...

Do you need a license to become an engineer?

Why scandium is not a transition element?

There is no sensible answer to the question because scandium IS a transition element.

Why is a transition curve required in a railway track?

Not being an engineer but having worked at a narrow-gauge and diesel railway theme park, I know that it was because of the mountain curves that narrow-gauge rails were used in logging to accommodate them because the larger gauge rails could not; "transition curve" sounds like it's a very gradual turn that ever narrows into the required tighter radius.

Quantum-mechanical model for the hydrogen atom which of the following transitions would produce light with the longer wavelength 3p2s or 4p3p?

A transition from 4p to 3p will produce light with a longer wavelength. This is because this transition is a smaller energy exchange than that of 3p to 2s (longer wavelength = less energy.)

Why you choos mechanical engineering as you carrier?

I choose mechanical enngineering as my carrier because 1. i love mechanical enggineering. 2.there is no ups and downs in mechancial engg. 3.it is an evergreen trade whose demand will remain forever till the end of this world. 4.maybe starting salaries are not so high but it will increase with time and ur experience. 5. It WOW's the opposite sex when you tell them your a mechanical engineering - just as much as it would if you said you were a computer scientist or stamp collector! p.s. I am a mechanical engineer.

Who gets paid more a civil engineer or a mechanical engineer?

Depends on where you are. In California entry engineers make $50-60k, decent engineers with 10 yrs exp make 70k, and PHDs/experts usually don't make more than $120k. If you're in industrial salaries are $20k higher for same yrs experience usually. But if you are working on oil&gas projects in offshore areas such as northern Canada you can top $200k. If you are project manager you make $180-250k and engineer lead managing 40-100 ppl = $400k, over 200 ppl makes over $500k in Canada.
