Denver is really the only place you can fly into if you want to ski the Rockies. Well international, big airport at least. We have a random family trip to Keystone which is about an hour and a half (depending on traffic, weather, route, etc) from Denver. If you are coming directly from the airport, tack on another 30-45 minutes. Keystone is one of my favorite places in the world. It's small but you aren't there for the city lifestyle; it's all about nature and outdoor activities. Breckenridge, safe to say, is one of the most popular ski destinations in Colorado. It is about 2 hours away from Denver and maybe 2hr 20 minutes from the airport. Traffic and conditions always apply though because there is only one way to get anywhere from Denver to the mountains and that's I-70. So plan on checking that highway no matter where you go. They are pretty good about conditions since it is the only major highway but at the same time the incline/decline is very steep at times because you are literally drivin
