Best Answer

The king moves one square at a time in any direction. The king can not move onto a square that is occupied by a piece of its own side nor onto a square where it would be in check by a piece of the opponent's side. The king may capture any of the opponent's pieces. as long as the move is a legal move. Aside from that it is the target of each of the opponentto checkmate it and win.

The queen combines the power of the rook and bishop. This gives it the most possible squares it can move to, so it is the most powerful piece on the board. The queen can fill any role such as attacking and defending certain squares. It is best used in creating attacks and checkmating. The queen is an all-around piece, but it is also the most valuable piece on the board because of how valuable it is.

The Queen has the omnipotence to incorporate the moves of every Chess piece except the Knight and is second only to the King in prestige and power. This makes her the most powerful piece on the board.

The queen can move as far as it wants in one direction each turn. It can move in the following directions: diagnal, horizontal, and vertical. I am not sure if that is what you meant but i hope I helped.

The Queen is the most powerful piece on the board and shouldn't be risked early in the game. Oft times the winner is decided by who still has one. She can move any direction, any number of unoccupied spaces in a straight line.

Anywhere

Diagonal as much as you want, forward as much as you want, sideways as much as you want but you cannot do two of them. E.g: forward then diagonal in the same turn
